F&IC AT A GLANCE
The Finance and Investment Cell of Hindu College carries out its activities under 5 verticals:
Digital Content And Strategy
This vertical runs the society’s social media pages on 3 sitesInstagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. This expands the reach of the society and its endeavours well beyond the constraints of the college. It allows students to interact with corporations and other people in relevant spheres.
Research
With the Research vertical, we seek to create an environment conducive to the continous intellectual development of students. This vertical of the society indulges itself in thought-provoking and engaging financial events. It provides an in-depth understanding of particular occurrences. An academic research paper is published every academic year. We regularly publish equity reports to understand the working of various financial tools.
Operations
The Operations vertical overlooks and supports all the activities of F&IC. It is responsible for the free and fair functioning of the other four verticals of the cell. The backend and external collaborations of the cell are dealt with by the operations team.
Projects
The main objective that F&IC aims to accomplish through this vertical is to enable its clients to be more data-driven in their business decision-making. Using the relevant data and information we provide a personalized report with solutions that is specifically tailored to our client’s needs, in addition to whatever may be deemed necessary on a case-by-case basis.
Development and Editorial
As part of our Development vertical, the society holds bi-weekly meetings wherein the members discuss with, and
enlighten each other on the various developments in the geo-political or the financial
world.
Our online newsletter – Divide, was officially introduced last year. The inspiration for
the same were the various discussions we had in our knowledge sessions. From geo-political
issues to contemplating economic policies, we were stipulated to think beyond picking the
“right thing” and discuss the grey areas encompassing such thoughts.
